I don't need a fan.

The title says it all.

It's natural to feel wanted. To feel like people are always "rooting for you" as Tyra Banks once said. But in reality--you have to cheer yourself on, even if no one else will. If you don't believe in yourself, then how can others catch on?

I don't need cheerleaders. I don't need a pat on the back every minute to feel accomplished. It comes from within. And if you want to feel worthy, then you have to be your biggest fan. No question about it.

Your career is a lifelong process...and to grow and develop professionally, you will have to advocate and motivate yourself often. It will not be easy, especially if you are the one who constantly watches other people's wins and are consumed by the popularity of others around you that are on the same path.

Continuously execute a level of positivity within yourself and understand that your mind is a powerful weapon against those that doubt your ability to prosper in this competitive world.
